SKYBOX COMMON AREAS AND LEASING CENTER

An Urban Development Innovator Makes Student Housing Fun

Project^, a Portland-based developer, launched a student housing neighborhood adjacent to the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR.  For its second building, the focus was on great design, student-centric amenities, and a cohesive campaign to fully lease the apartments. The scope included a developing an identity, a ground floor game room, elevator landings on all 6 floors, a penthouse study room, and a temporary leasing center in their previous building, Courtside. Solutions included clever and creative interactive elements like a dimensional scoreboard in the game room and magazine hangers on the wall of the study room. The temporary leasing center was designed with function and cost in mind and included the ubiquitous ping pong table to encourage informal visits.
